Over the river and through the woods...

... literally

So here we are, you and me. A new journey coming to your inbox from our home on a dirt road in northern Michigan. A journey that winds through family, through transformation, through life in general both past and present.

Our dirt road actually does wind over the river - ok a creek really - and through the woods to a plot of land carved out of a much bigger plot of land overlooking the lake. But it wasn’t always this way.

A lot has happened in 60+ years for us - as does with most. Is this story different? Maybe. Everyone has their own story to tell. I think the key though is to never stop learning and growing as the years pass.

It’s kind of busy here for Beth and me: 4 acres, half of which are being farmed to an elderberry crop, 6 chickens, 2 dogs, 2 rental properties on site, 5 children, 5 grandchildren (and our kids aren’t done yet!). The reason I tell you all this is to let you know I’ll post when I can, in between all this. I’m hoping for 2 - 3 posts per week.
